Ordered this frame as a birthday gift. Waited for it to arrive for about 3 weeks. Was surprised it took so long. Usually amazon is pretty fast with deliveries. But when it finally arrived, it was broken. There was something wrong with display pixels, they were all distorted, couldn’t view any pictures. I sent it back for a refund the next day. The refund was prompt, no problem there. And I bought Pandigital 8″ digital frame instead at Bed and Bath store.

Another great digital product from Samsung. Very easy to operate and set up. It was a smooth and easy transaction and have had no problems with the product.

I bought the last remaining Samsung SPF-85H 8″ digital frame from Fry’s about a week ago. I’ve had Pandigital 5″ digital frames and Insignia frames before. Samsung beats all others. This is the frame to get. The pictures look excellent and it doesn’t overheat like the other brand’s. It’s super easy to operate: all you need to do is hook it up to your computer (PC or Mac) and your computer will recognize it as a regular USB mass storage unit, no drivers necessary (if you are still runing Windows 98, please upgrade to XP at least). Samsung makes the best LCD screens on the face of the earth today. Especially at this price ($60), you really can’t go wrong with product. Buy one TODAY!

I bought this for a Mother’s Day present. It took me about two hours to figure out how to load and display photos, so I wrote my own manual to send along with it. The most annoying thing is the arrogance of manufacturers who cover the plastic surface of a product with little stickers extolling it’s features, then having to mar the surface with smears and scratches getting them off. After that, the photos look fine.

The timer doesn’t work well, but the quality of the pictures and frame is nice.
